What are your office hours?

In office appointment are available from 7A – 8P - Monday through Friday

Weekend and home visits are appointment only and must be scheduled through our office or directly with the practitioner.

Do I need a prescription for physical therapy?

No, in New York state physical therapists with over three years experience can evaluate and treat without a physician prescription for physical therapy.

Treatments w/out a prescription are available for 30 days or 10 visits whichever comes first.

 

We are an out of network provider. Our staff is happy verify your benefits and advise you on cost per visit. We do not participate with Medicare, Medicaid, Workmen’s Compensation or Personal Injury/No-Fault claims.

Can you consult with my physician?

100% yes, with your permission we are happy to speak to your referring doctor ensuring we offer you the best care possible.

 

How long is each session?

Our sessions run 60 minutes in-home or 60 min initial examination and 45 minutes follow-ups in-office, should you require or desire more time we are happy to accommodate you. Packages and 30 minutes sessions are also available upon request. (Additional fees for more time)

 

What do I wear?

We provide laundered shorts and loose fitting shirts at our office for your convenience. If we’re meeting you at home or at your office please wear gym clothes. You can also bring your own gym clothes to wear in-office. Whatever your most comfortable in.

 

Where do you offer home-care?

We arrange at home care for patients in Manhattan, servicing the Upper East and Upper West side. Arrangements can be made to other neighborhoods or on weekends. Please contact us for pricing.  

 

What can I expect from an at-home treatment?

We schedule an hour for each at home visits – typically we do not bring a massage table (it’s not necessary for treatment). Treatments can comfortably be done in a gym, on a yoga mat, your own massage table or on comfortable surface. Shall you require a table we’ll make arrangements ahead of time.

 

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation fee of $175.00 will apply for appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. You will receive an email confirmation the day before your scheduled visit to remind you of your appointment. This will give you an opportunity to reschedule if necessary without penalty.
