He then went on to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Misericordia University in 2013. He has since completed his clinical work in New Jersey and New York and treated vast range of conditions such as sprains/strains, pre/post-operative, focused athletic rehabilitation, vestibular dysfunction, and post-concussion syndrome.

Michael has certifications in vestibular rehabilitation, functional nutrition for chronic pain, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and cupping. Michael has participated in lectures regarding rehabilitation for runners and general pre rehabilitation for the active individual.

Michael strongly believes in an integrative/holistic model of care in treating patients as there are several factors that contribute to an injury and it is important to assess the whole individual for best outcomes.

“I started seeing Allison at the start of 2011 when I got shin splints whilst ramping up mileage for my first 50-mile ultra-marathon.  I needed a lot of therapy, and we made a few adjustments to my running form. Allison got me through that race, and numerous ultras since. I do not think I would have made it to the start line for any of these events without Allison’s therapy.”

“I just wanted to send you a quick note just to say thanks! Yesterday I completed my first 10 mile race, the broad street run, in Philly. It’s been almost exactly a year since I first saw you, and you set me on the right course with my ankle. In that year I’ve lost 30 pounds, run 5Ks and now a 10 miler, learned how to SCUBA dive, and am just in general living a better life.”
